Camping
Ledgedale caters strictly to family camping. We do not accept groups and no pets are permitted in the campground.
Daily, weekly, and monthly campsites are available throughout the season. Reservations made in advance are encouraged for holiday weekends such as Memorial Day, Labor Day and the Fourth of July.
We have a limited number of seasonal sites at Ledgedale Recreation Area. Interested individuals may put their name on a wait list.
Each campsite includes water and 30 amp electricity, a fire ring with grill attached, picnic table, and garbage cans.
Bundles of fire wood are available for purchase and can be delivered to your site.
There are four outhouse-styled restrooms located throughout the campground for your convenience. We also provide a free dump station to registered campers.
A shower building with additional restrooms and a laundry room is also onsite.
Boating
Daily and weekly boat slips are available throughout the season. Reservations made in advance are encouraged for holiday weekends such as Memorial Day, Labor Day and the Fourth of July.
Seasonal Boat Slips are rented at Ledgedale Recreation Area. Interested individuals should put their names on the waiting list.
Our launching ramps are available to the public daily for a fee. Visitors may use the parking lot to park their tailor. The parking lot gate is open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily.
Pets are not permitted anywhere in the park. If you are bringing your pet with you on the lake, we ask that they stay in the vehicle or on the boat until the boat is launched. We thank you for taking your pet elsewhere to do its business.
We rent single and tandem Old Town kayaks daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day, however we do not rent power boats.
Gas is available at our gas dock for boaters throughout the season.
Store
Our general store is packed with camping, fishing, and boating supplies, as well as toys, gifts, souvenirs and Ledgedale/Lake Wallenpaupack merchandise. It also contains bags of ice, snacks, beverages, candy, ice cream and condiments.
Upon arrival campers are asked to check in at the store. Check-in and check-out are both at 4:00 p.m.
Boat launchers must first register in the store.
Park
Our picnic area overlooks the lake and marina and is complete with picnic tables, grills and garbage cans. No reservations are necessary as they are available on a first come first serve basis.
We offer a playground for children as well as a game room.
